This years MTV Video Music Awards will feature a tribute to Britney spears and I could not be more excited! When I think back to being a young kid, my first memory of a true pop star has to be Britney Spears in her red bodysuit from the Oops... I Did It Again music video. I was seven years old, and the video was being shown on Nickelodeon (back then I was banned from watching MTV and in fact, I think I technically still am) and I was convinced that Britney Spears was the most important person in the world. Eleven years later, Brit Brit is still at the peak of cultural relevancy and has only produced more hits and iconic imagery well deserving of a tribute.I am eagerly anticipating her VMA tribute and to contain myself, I'm going to be counting down my favorite ten Britney Videos. Beginning tomorrow and everyday until VMA Sunday, August 28th, I will be posting my top picks, with the number one video being revealed right before the start of the show!
